Why videos go viral

TED talks are often wonderful and inspirational, getting an idea across in a short period of time and leaving a lasting impression. This talk by Kevin Allocca, a Trends Manager with YouTube, tells the story of viral videos and the four reasons they go viral in just over seven minutes. It's deep thoughts on silly web video. Not bad for a guy who watches YouTube videos for a living.

You can see this Why videos go viral talk directly on the TED website to see it with comments and related content.
